Electrical planning
Planning of the electrical infrastructure, taking future building automation into account.
Efficiently planned. Intelligently automated. Economically operated.
HoGtec develops holistic technical concepts for hotels and serviced apartments — from initial consultation and electrical planning through building automation and energy management to programming and commissioning.
Our goal: a high level of comfort for your guests, simple processes for your staff and energy-efficient building operation.
Lighting, indoor climate, shading, access, energy supply and charging infrastructure are often planned as separate trades. We look at how they interact.
At an early project stage, we work with developers, operators and architects to analyse the building's requirements and develop a coordinated overall technical concept.
In doing so, we consider not only the investment, but also energy consumption, ease of use, maintenance and subsequent operation.
Good building automation does not start with programming, but with planning. Together with developers, operators, architects and other project stakeholders, we develop technical concepts that take subsequent operation into account from the outset.
Planning of the electrical infrastructure, taking future building automation into account.
Development of cross-trade automation and control concepts.
Lighting control and DALI concepts for hotel rooms and public areas.
Design of intelligent energy flows and avoidance of unnecessary load peaks.
Integration of charging points for guests and staff into the energy concept.
Integration of digital access and security systems.
Planning for the necessary digital infrastructure.
Central display of key system states, alerts and energy data.
Technology in a hotel room should not need explaining. Guests expect intuitive operation. Which systems communicate with each other in the background should not matter to them.
Individual lighting scenes and intelligent lighting control create atmosphere while enabling efficient operation.
Heating, cooling and ventilation can be controlled as needed and adapted to occupancy and presence.
Automatic shading combines comfort with protection against summer heat and energy efficiency.
Digital access solutions can be linked to other room automation functions.
An unoccupied hotel room does not need the same comfort level as a room in which a guest is currently staying.
Occupancy status, presence and operating times can be used to automatically adapt indoor climate, lighting and other loads to actual demand.
This means energy efficiency comes not from sacrificing comfort, but from intelligent building operation.
Modern hotels are increasingly becoming complex energy systems. Building services, kitchens, wellness areas, heat pumps, photovoltaics, battery storage and charging infrastructure all draw on a shared energy supply.
HoGtec develops concepts to connect consumers and generators in a meaningful way.
Individual installations become a coordinated energy system for the entire hotel.
In hotels, charging infrastructure should not be considered in isolation. As the number of charging points grows, the available electrical connection capacity becomes particularly relevant.
That is why HoGtec takes charging infrastructure into account as early as the energy and electrical planning stage. Dynamic load management can intelligently distribute the available power between hotel operations and charging points.
Photovoltaics, battery storage and other controllable loads can also be part of the overall concept.
A central visualisation creates transparency across the hotel's technical infrastructure. Operating states, temperatures, energy consumption and faults can be displayed clearly.
Technical staff gain a central overview and can respond more quickly to deviations. At the same time, the recorded data forms the basis for further optimising building operation in the long term.
Depending on the project, we connect different technologies and systems with each other.
What matters is not a particular manufacturer or a single system. The technology must suit the building, the operating processes and the future requirements of the hotel.
Analyse requirements, usage and technical conditions.
Develop a cross-trade technical concept.
Program systems and link them together.
Test and optimise functions, then commission them together.
Refine operating strategies based on real-world experience and consumption data.
Not every hotel project starts on a greenfield site.
For renovation and modernisation projects, HoGtec analyses existing technical installations and develops concepts for how existing systems can sensibly continue to be used, supplemented or gradually modernised.
This allows investment to be targeted where it delivers the greatest technical and economic benefit.
